A Particularly Harsh Cliche - and penguins

Over on Jay Lake's blog I found a link to a reviewer who among other things -- including a review of a Jay lake story) -- posted a link to a short story on Tor's site.

The story contains the following quote -

I also admit to being more than a little confused as to how I wound up [in Lake Baikal, Siberia...] But, then, anyone would share this feeling, if put in my position. That I blame your brother is understandable, I think. That the vodka permeating this part of the world like a particularly harsh cliché dulls most of my anger is also understandable.

Penguins and shamans and gonzo in Siberia. "Errata". Go read it.
